Job Description:
8+ years of relevant experience in Data Warehouse Environment
5-7 years of working experience on Informatica PowerCenter;
2+ years working experience on Informatica IDQ
Should have good understanding of various components such as Informatica Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, Repository Manager and the Administrator Console
Hands on experience with ETL architecture design, ETL standards and processes, develop ETL mapping document between source and target data elements etc.
Should have good understanding of Data Integration and Data Warehousing Fundamentals
Define ETL standards and processes
Working knowledge of Advanced Transformations, Techniques & Reusability Features
Knowledge of Performance Tuning, Design Principles & Caches
Should be able to understand business requirements, create technical specifications and implement the same using Integration technologies
Should have a good understanding of testing concepts for testing developed code and code optimization
Exposure to other Informatica suite of products such as Informatica Power Exchange and Informatica EDC
Ability to communicate and articulate technical information across various organizational levels
Strong thought leadership abilities and a highly innovative problem solver
High reasoning aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex operating environments
Highly innovative problem solver with strong analytical and customer service abilities required. ?
Responsibilities
Senior ETL developers are responsible for designing and creating the data staging area and all related extraction, transformation and load of data functions in Client. After the groundwork has been laid, developers also must test their designs to ensure the system runs smoothly. Perform gap-analysis on data requirements against current legacy data structure and capabilities. Work with implementation team to detail data cleansing and enrichment requirements
Furthermore, developers must be experts at taking a big-picture view of a Clients data situation – data modeling. This means developers need to be able to read, analyze and digest what Client wants to accomplish with its data, and design the best possible ETL process around those goals.

Commerce graduate with English as a compulsory subject
Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday (00:00am to 00:00pm CST/EST/IST). The shift timings can be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, resources may have to do overtime and work on weekend’s basis business requirement.
