Sr. Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Priority locations: Frisco, TX (Remote)

Exp 10+Years

Azure Consultant

Location: Frisco, TX

Roles & Responsibilities: –

1. Responsibilities

i. Azure Foundation Build and Administration

ii. Perform L3 tasks related to Azure infrastructure i.e., NSG/ASG, Azure LB, Compute Right Sizing, Azure networking, Azure Site Recovery

iii. Acts as a technical SME for serious incidents and complex issues related to Azure.

iv. Assist in Migration from On-Prem to Cloud

2. Skills required

a. Ability to deal with people working in remote locations and different time zones

b. Strong experience in Azure

i. Excellent understanding of Cloud IaaS

ii. Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway and VM Scale sets

iii. Troubleshooting the Azure Networking issue / Azure Storage issue / Azure VM issues

iv. Express route configuration and management

v. Storage Accounts, Azure Key Vaults management

vi. Develop and maintain an Azure based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.

vii. Good understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts using ASR

viii. Handling Azure VM builds using ARM templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI and Azure Portal

c. Good Experience in Automation

i. ARM Templates

ii. Ansible

3. Additional Skills and Experience required

a. Windows or Linux OS

b. Can drive innovation and automation

c. Expertise in preparing Operational and Architectural manual.

4. Soft Skills

a. Candidate should possess excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)

b. Excellent documentation skill

c. Should have great customer handling skills

d. Able to handle unforeseen situations

e. Excellent team player capabilities
